Veer Narmad South Gujarat University has emerged as an institution of excellence in higher education since its existence in 1967. Located in the city Surat this semi-urban university has a campus spread over 210 acres. VNSGU has been re-accredited with B++ grade by NAAC in 2022. Courses & Admission 2024 at VNSGU Surat

Certain course-specific entrance exams are conducted by VNSGU Surat itself. Admission to MBBS programmes is based on scores obtained in the NEET UG exam, followed by a counselling round held by the university.
The university conducts Fine Arts Entrance Test and Interior Design Entrance Test to grant admission to the courses. Applicants wishing to seek admission in B.Lib. I.Sc and BPT, B.Optom, Nursing courses have to avail of the entrance test conducted by the university.
For the PG courses, admission to MBA & MD or MS programs are based on scores obtained in CMAT, and NEET PG marks, respectively. Admission to MSc programme courses is determined by the marks obtained in bachelor’s degree followed by counselling round. Admissions to Nursing, M.Optom, MPT, MSW and medical courses are based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam conducted by VNSGU Surat.
Candidates for M. Phil and PhD courses also have written a test conducted by the university followed by viva voce and powerpoint representation. Candidates holding valid scores in JRP/ NET/ GATE/ SLET/ GSLET are exempted from writing the entrance test.
